Governance
  • Glaucoma members of SEAGIG vote at an Annual General Meeting for a Board of nine members, no more than two of whom can come from any one country. The Board then votes from among its members, a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.
  • No individual can remain a Board member for more than eight consecutive years. After such a period of service, the individual may stand for the Board again after an absence of at least four years.
  • The Board meets annually in person at the SEAGIG or AOGS scientific meetings, and more regularly by teleconference.
